MyVault, Inc’s (“MyVault”) Privacy Commitment. This policy (“Policy”) affirms that MyVault and its employees have a commitment to your privacy and provide the following Policy covering the following items.
- Personally identifiable information of yours or third party personally identifiable information that is collected from you and stored on the web site
- MyVault’s collection of information
- How the information is used
- With whom the information may be shared
- What choices are available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of the information
- The kind of security procedures that are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under MyVault’s control

If you have questions or concerns regarding this Policy, you should contact MyVault support via the web site. You may link to web sites from MyVault that are provided for information or additional customer services. When a User leaves MyVault’s web site this Policy no longer applies.
Privacy Commitment. Our Policy is that we are committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience possible. This Policy becomes effective at the time you become a User as defined in the MyVault Terms of Use Agreement.
Personally Identifiable Information Collected. No information that can uniquely identify an individual is gathered by merely visiting the www.anywherevault.com web site. Personally identifiable information is only collected when you register for an Vault account and provide the following:
- Name
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Zip code
- General documents of a personal nature that you choose to place in your Vault
- Insurance policy information and applicable descriptions of items covered by said policies
- Credit Card Information. (Credit card information is collected using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted pages and is only required when services are purchased. Credit card information is stored on a separate server by the billing provider (Authorize.net) and is not stored by MyVault.)
When logging into the MyVault Service, we also create a per-session cookie, which is maintained when using the Service for identification purposes. If you do not allow cookies with your browser, then your usage of the Service may be disallowed. Once you have logged in you can change personal information stored in your account.
Use of Personally Identifiable Information. We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. We may share personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:
- Verification of services needed to do credit card checks, etc.
- We find that your actions on our web site violate the Terms of Use Agreement.
- We are legally compelled by a subpoena or court order.
- To cooperate with authorities in the investigation of an alleged crime.
If you have not opted-out of receiving mailings, we will communicate (generally through e-mail) with you to update MyVault Service information, provide support, request feedback, provide marketing and service information, request marketing input, and provide special offers and incentives related to MyVault. If you have opted-out of receiving these mailings, your only avenue of information regarding the service will be via the Terms of Use Agreement or a message on the Login page of the service. When you register as a User you hereby agree to the communications set forth in this paragraph. You have the ability to opt-out at anytime by adjusting your Account Information or e-mailing MyVault at support(at sign)myvaulthome(dot)com, while you are logged into the service.
To change other personal information, log into the service and go to your Account page.
When you contact us via links on our site, your e-mail address and information is kept only for the purposes of responding to your request and future requests that you may have. If you contact us via support, any information you provide may be used to respond and resolve your questions or issues.
Your Documents are yours and are treated as Private. Documents can only be seen by you and with those whom you share them. Documents in your Vault repository can only be accessed by you and MyVault. MyVault utilizes a managed hosting company who provides optimal server protection. MyVault’s servers are not shared with any other entity, are behind a dedicated firewall and are managed with twenty-four hour support.
Your Documents are protected with State of the Art Security. As a registered User our security system utilizes every reasonable measure to ensure that no one can access your documents except those with whom you choose to share them and MyVault. The site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information provided to us. The servers are maintained in a secure, safe, trusted and audited environment (for more information regarding security audits click on the certificates of the auditing companies located on the MyVault web site.
Reservation of Rights. MyVault reserves all lawful rights regarding privacy except those rights expressly altered in this Policy.
